Svaneholmhus on Agger Tange
Address: Aggervej 35, 7770 Vestervig.
Opening hours: Every day, all year round from 6:00 am until the last ferry has left.
At the southernmost tip of Agger Tange, right by the ferry port, you'll find one of the National Park's information centers. It's a natural hub that's easy to get to, whether you arrive by car, on foot, by bike, kayak or boat.
The information center is built in sustainable architecture that blends naturally into the surrounding landscape. It's a quiet place where you can take a break from everyday stress and immerse yourself in nature.
Inside the house, you can learn more about the area’s distinctive natural environment, including the coastal lagoon, the salt marshes, and the unique plants and birds found on Agger Tange. The house is unstaffed, but interactive screens provide answers to your questions about Thy National Park. There’s also free Wi-Fi, so you can download the Thy National Park app to use during your visit.
You can use the toilets, fill up your water bottle and shelter from the weather while you wait for the ferry or gather your strength to explore the national park. The information center also offers free leaflets to help you plan your next trip in the area. It's an ideal place to start your journey into the unique nature of Thy National Park.
