The weather is very important in Agger

Agger is located right on the coast, between the North Sea and the Limfjord. This means wide-open skies, dramatic storms, and some of Denmark’s most beautiful sunsets—but also weather that must be taken seriously.

Wind

The wind is part of Agger

The west wind brings waves for surfers and kiters and fresh air for everyone else. Check the wind and gusts before heading out onto the water or along the beach.

Sea

Respect the North Sea

There may be strong currents and high waves along the coast. Swim only in calm weather, stay close to shore, and follow the signs and flags on the beach.

Storm

When the Storm Comes

A storm on the west coast is quite an experience—from a safe distance. Stay away from breakwaters and the pier when the waves are crashing in, and follow the warnings from the DMI.

Light

Sunset over the ocean

Clear evenings with a light breeze offer the best sunsets. Head out to the beach or Agger Tange half an hour before sunset.

You can find official warnings and forecasts at DMI.
