Thorsminde
A great spot at a small fishing village where you surf on the south side of the harbor outlet. The main spot is along the harbor pier, but there are several spots the next few kilometers down the coast that work just as well. Be aware that the waves can get very strong and there can be a lot of current.
Agger
The area north of the last pier on the seaweed can be a good windsurfing and kite spot. Be aware: There can be plenty of current in the area. Windsurfing: Advanced to expert Kitesurfing: Advanced to expert Kayaking: Advanced to expert SUP (wave): Advanced to expert Surfing: Advanced to expert
Bøgsted Rende
Bøgstedrende – a fun wave. Bøgstedrende is a straight stretch of coastline that’s very vulnerable to wind when it comes to surfing. People don’t windsurf or kiteboard there. The seabed is sandy. Be aware that there can be strong currents, and the waves pack a lot of power. It’s somewhat reminiscent of Lyngby.
Hamburg
Hamburg is an overlooked wave spot and was once known for a large ship in the water. Today it has been removed and there should be nothing left in the water. Super windsurf and kite spot. Be aware that there are rocks in the water.
Høfde Q in Fjaltring
Høfte Q is a power spot that works like a small point break. You enter the water on the inside of the south-facing pier and then paddle straight out into the takeoff zone. Super cool wave but requires wind and waves from the north-northeast. Be careful not to get in front of the south-facing pier and lie down, as you can get washed up by the pier if a larger set comes.
Lyngby, Denmark
Lyngby is a completely straight stretch of coast so it requires the waves to come along the coast. it's a super fast wave with lots of power.
Bunkers
Bunkers is a super surf spot that gets its name from all the bunkers on the beach. The spot is divided into the bunker reef and the bunker break. Please note that the bunker reef consists of rocks and mussels. The bunker beach break consists of sand.
Middles
Located right by the factories and is one of the first, largest surf spots in Thy. The current is strong at times and it can sometimes be difficult to get out to the lineup.
The Large Pier in Agger – Number 72
Strong shore break and big waves are the challenge on the long pier at Agger Tange. The pier is number 72. Very good for wave riding and virtually all disciplines. Best with the wind in the south/southeast. For advanced and experts.
Stone Mountain
The unknown spot. Stenbjerg is not a place where many people surf, but it's worth checking out. Be aware that there are rocks in the water plus current going north.
Tolder paths
Tolderstien is located in Klitmøller Bay and is a sandbank that moves all the time. When it's small it's a great place to start, but as it grows it can become hollow and with a large shore break. Be aware that there can be a lot of current in the bay and a violent shore break.
Krik Cove
Good surf spot for kitesurfing and beginners. There are often a lot of kitesurfers here due to the shallow water and favorable wind conditions.
There is also a surf house with toilets and a small parking lot.
South Side
Really good spot. Here you can experience really good and big barrels.
No. Vorupør
The small pier Vorupør is a safe spot as it is a small pier that can create a nice left wave. You jump into the water just south of the pier and paddle around it. Be aware of the pier, it hits hard.
The Reef
The Reef is a limestone reef, just off Klitmøller, where you'll find a very nice wave, where you'll find many new surfers just learning the lineup. Be aware of the shallow water and the sharp mussels.
Fischermans Corner
Fischerman corner is a heavy wave that breaks close to shore and has a lot of water in it. It only works with naked swell. The way down to the spot is by following the large iron pipe over the pier. Be aware that it's a wave with a lot of water in it, so remember to get off in time or you'll end up in the gravel.
