LadyWalk

Transportation to the starting point:
Our small coastal town isn’t very big, so it’s easy to find the starting point. There are also signs posted showing where the starting point is.
The Thyborøn/Agger ferry has a maximum capacity of 98 people per crossing. Therefore, only participants who live closest to the ferry—i.e., in Lemvig, Thyborøn, and Harboøre—will be able to take the ferry round-trip. The round-trip fare for pedestrians is 25 DKK.
Tickets are purchased from the ticket machine.
We encourage you to arrive well in advance! The first ferry departure is at 3:00 PM, followed by 3:40 PM, and so on.
You’ll take the ferry as a Ladywalk participant, after which you’ll be transported by shuttle bus to the starting point, De Sorte Huse in Agger, and back for an additional 25 DKK.
If you’re bringing your car on the ferry, please note that you’ll need to take a detour on your way home. Extra ferry trips have been scheduled to offer participants this option.

Spectators:
Feel free to invite your husband and family to come cheer you on—they’re welcome at the event and around town. It’s an amazing experience to see several thousand women walking together in a single group, all wearing matching T-shirts, smiling, laughing, and chatting.
Some local hunters say, “It almost sounds like geese flying in a flock.”

Spread the good news:
You can help spread the good news by using your network, sending an email, or posting it on Facebook, so that as many of your coworkers, friends, and family members as possible will also want to participate.
It’s so much fun to walk with people you don’t “usually” walk with.

Route Description
7 km
We start at De Sorte Huse, where we walk up to the North Sea, and you’ll hardly believe your eyes—it’s so beautiful.
The sea, the sand, the rose hips, the sea buckthorn, the marram grass, and the beautiful sea and sand all come together to frame a picture of happy girls enjoying each other’s company.
Next, we’ll walk a bit out onto Agger Tange (the protected bird sanctuary), where you’ll see the Lagoon Lakes with plenty of mute swans and whooper swans, herons, Galloway cattle, and perhaps a roe deer. Then we’ll head up the new concrete path—the old work road—where we’ll see the Limfjord and the beautiful coastal town of Agger.
Here there’s a water station where we can enjoy the scenery and the long line of girls in matching T-shirts. A beautiful sight.
We’ll walk along the southern dike, where we’ll see Flade Sø and the Lodbjerg Lighthouse, with a glimpse of the ocean on our way back to the starting point. Here, you might have the chance to watch the sunset over the ocean.
12 km
We start at De Sorte Huse, and the route goes around Flade Sø. We begin by heading up to the North Sea, walking along the beautiful new concrete path.
Here on this route, too, you’ll get your money’s worth for all your senses—it’s so beautiful. We have Flade Sø on our right and the North Sea on our left. We’ll enjoy a wonderful walk through the heath to Lodbjerg Forest. Here, the scent and radiance of the heather, the sand, the sea, and the king’s buttons—among other things—compete with the cheerful girls enjoying each other’s company.
The first water station is located in Lodbjerg Forest. Along the route, there are restroom facilities and another water station before the walk continues along the dike back to Agger. On the dike on the way back, you might be lucky enough to see the sunset over the sea.
On this route, you’ll also see, feel, and smell the lake, the sea, the forest, the stream, and the fjord, as well as nature’s birds and perhaps even a deer.
