How we describe Limbo Boats
Limbo Boats is a Danish boat manufacturer with deep roots in traditional craftsmanship and a passion for quality. Founded in 1969 by Svend Åge Christensen, the company began with the production of local dinghies and hunting barges. In 1976, the company moved to Agger Harbor and introduced the iconic Limbo 14, marking the start of an expansive development.
Today, Limbo Boats offers a wide range of 18 different types of boats, many of which are available in different versions. The company builds all boats in its own shipyard next to the sales premises, ensuring full control over production and quality. Only hand-laid fiberglass is used, guaranteeing exceptional durability and strength.
Limbo boats are known for their unique hull design that provides excellent stability and load capacity. Even the smaller models, such as the Limbo 12 and Limbo 14, allow you to stand at the rail without significant heeling. This stability combined with a special bottom construction makes the boats economical to operate as they can plane with less horsepower.
One of the company's strengths is the ability to tailor boats to the customer's specific wishes and needs. Whether it's a luxurious family boat, a custom-built fishing boat or a robust commercial boat, Limbo Boats is able to deliver solutions that match individual requirements.
Boat equipment and accessories
In addition to boat production, Limbo Boats also offers a wide range of boating equipment and accessories, including boat trailers, trailers and spare parts. The company also has experience with special tasks in fiberglass, such as the production of houses for Thymøllen, fiberglass reinforcement of oil tanks and breeding ponds.
Delivery where you are
Limbo Boats has delivered boats throughout Denmark and Greenland as well as to countries such as Sweden, Norway and Germany. The company is proud of their Danish design and production, and all boats are CE-approved and non-sinking, emphasizing their commitment to safety and quality.
