Agger Havn Feriecenter is an attractive holiday resort located in the southern part of Thy National Park, close to Agger Havn, Agger Tange, Flade Sø, Ørum Sø and the North Sea. The holiday center consists of 101 well-maintained holiday apartments that offer an ideal base for both relaxation and active experiences in the surrounding nature.
The apartments
The apartments were built in 1978 and have a living area of 57-60 m² spread over 1½ levels. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall open to the kitchen and living room, a bedroom, bathroom with shower and a living room with access to a wooden terrace via double doors. From the living room, a staircase leads to the 1st floor where there is a landing and two more rooms. The decor may vary between the apartments, but they all share a cozy atmosphere and modern facilities.
Facilities
The resort offers a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable vacation for the whole family. Guests have access to an indoor swimming pool, sauna, billiards, table tennis and playground. There are also petanque, beach volleyball and mini golf courts, providing plenty of opportunities for both relaxation and activity. There is also free admission to Sydthy Badeland, which is an added benefit for water-loving guests.
Nature
The surrounding nature offers a wealth of outdoor activities. Thy National Park, Denmark's first national park, stretches from Agger Tange to Hanstholm and offers unspoiled nature with a rich animal and bird life. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling, and for those interested in water sports, there are good opportunities for surfing and kite surfing in Krik Vig, which is close to the holiday center.
The city
Agger town, an idyllic west coast town, is nearby and offers a wide sandy beach, forest, fjord and access to the national park. The town has a charming marina where you can experience the local atmosphere and enjoy freshly caught fish. There are also opportunities to visit local attractions such as Agger's small idyllic church and "De Sorte Huse", which tells the history of the town and fishing.
