Agger Aktive is an active community organization in Agger that organizes various activities year-round.
The association owns and operates the Tourist Cabin, which serves as an information center for visitors to Agger. The Tourist Cabin is staffed by volunteers in July and August and offers tourist information, sells books, and hosts exhibitions of local artwork.
Agger Aktive is also known for organizing events such as Western Night, a tradition that was revived in July 2023 after a hiatus of more than 20 years. Western Night features activities such as a rodeo bull, a flea market, and live Western music, and involves collaboration with local businesses and the church.
The association plays an important role in promoting community spirit and tourism in Agger through its involvement in local events and the maintenance of facilities such as the Turisthytten.
